We’re on the hunt for a physically strong, reliable, and customer-focused Yard Person to join our Manukau branch.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Picking and preparing timber and building materials for collection and delivery
- Assisting trade and DIY customers with their orders
- Operating a crosscut saw (training provided)
- Keeping the yard tidy, organised, and safe
- Working closely with sales, dispatch, and manufacturing teams
- Physically fit & strong
– comfortable with manual handling
- Team player
with a positive, can-do attitude
- Friendly & approachable
– great with customers, positive, bubbly attitude
- Comfortable using tools and equipment
- Knowledge of timber and grades (or eager to learn)
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and well-presented
- Basic maths skills and confidence with measurements

- Monday – Friday: 7.30am – 5.00pm
- Rostered Saturday mornings: 7.30am – 12.00pm
