The role:
- Immediate start
- Full time permanent
- Location: Maleme Street, Greerton
- 5 days per week, Tuesday to Saturday
- Roster: 5.30 am to 2.00/3.00 pm
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Replenishing stock in the aisles
- Handling and processing inwards goods
- Rotating stock to ensure that it is always fresh
- Checking expiry dates and removing any out-of-date stock
- Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness in warehouse area
- Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation
- Load and unload products, ensuring they are securely and safely transported.
- Deliver goods according to customer orders in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Receiving and unpacking deliveries
- Adherence to health and safety and food safety standards
- Rotate stock based on FIFO
- Picking and processing orders (outwards goods)
- Some heavy lifting
The person:
You will have some prior experience in a similar role, food industry, or a warehousing environment is advantageous, but not essential.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Must be able to work in a cold environment
- a full Class 2 drivers licence, must be able to drive manual
- Have clear communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of Tauranga and its surrounding areas is a plus
- Reasonably good Literacy and numeracy skills
- Flexible and reliable attendance & transport
- Physically strong and be able to lift up to 25 kg
- Forklift license
- Some Pick Packing/warehouse work experience (beneficial)
- Prior NZ experience and knowledge of basic food ingredients
