Hours: Every Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:15 AM – 11:15 AM
Pay: NZD 26 to NZD 28 per hour

KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Coffee Preparation & Beverage Service
- Prepare high-quality coffee and espresso-based beverages.
- Serve a range of hot and cold drinks to employees and office guests.
- Contribute ideas and input for the Weekly Barista Special.
- Deliver consistent quality and presentation with every drink.
Order & Service Management
- Manage drink orders through the digital ordering system “Brew Buddy.”
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing and delivering orders.
- Maintain fast service during continuous customer flow.
Café Experience
- Create a welcoming café-style atmosphere within the office.
- Maintain stocked cookie jars and ensure customers are informed about ingredients and dietary details.
- Engage with customers to recommend beverages based on their preferences.
Cleanliness & Organisation
- Maintain a clean, organised coffee preparation area.
- Ensure all equipment, supplies, and serving areas are fully stocked and sanitised.
- Follow commercial hygiene and sanitation standards.
Customer Experience & Communication
- Provide excellent customer service through friendly, professional communication.
- Actively listen to customer preferences and personalise beverage recommendations.
- Build relationships with regular customers and create a welcoming community feel.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience as a Senior Barista in a high-volume café environment
- Ability to operate multiple coffee machines simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing techniques, milk types, and tea preparation
- Ability to maintain speed, accuracy, and quality during busy service
- Bubbly, conversational personality
- Passionate about coffee and customer interaction
- Friendly, energetic, and approachable
- Able to build genuine connections with regular customers
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
