We are seeking an Afternoon Shift Powder Person / Materials Handler to join our factory team in Central Auckland, topping up and mixing materials for production. Each machine creates a different product requiring a different mixture of materials, so attention to detail and the ability to keep pace with the machines is essential.
LOCATION & EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
- Location: Central Auckland (walking distance to St Lukes Mall and Eden Park)
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Fixed Afternoon Shift
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:30pm – Midnight (4-week dayshift training period required initially)
- Industry: Manufacturing
This role suits someone who is physically fit, detail-oriented, and comfortable working consistently on an afternoon shift. You'll be responsible for drying, mixing, and preparing materials, as well as maintaining cleanliness across grinders, hopper dryers, hoppers, and material handling areas. Basic math skills are needed to calculate and mix products correctly. Experience with raw materials in similar industries and forklift operation is an advantage, though full training will be provided.
