You will play a key role in maintaining pantry services, assisting with café operations, and ensuring a welcoming and well-stocked environment for employees and guests.
Hours: Tuesdays 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM & Thursdays 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: NZD 26 to NZD 28 per hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Pantry & Food Service Support
- Prepare and present breakfast and lunch items for office employees
- Maintain pantry areas, ensuring cleanliness and organisation
- Monitor and restock pantry supplies, snacks, and beverages
- Ensure all food items are labelled with ingredients and dietary information
- Assist in preparing coffee and espresso-based beverages as required
- Support the barista during busy service periods
- Maintain consistency in drink quality and presentation
- Conduct stocktakes of pantry and café consumables
- Place orders via the app and coordinate with suppliers
- Monitor deliveries and follow up on delays using live chat support
- Act as the main contact for suppliers
- Liaise with vendors regarding delivery updates and ETAs
- Provide feedback on supplier performance and meal quality
- Create a welcoming and professional environment for staff and visitors
- Engage with employees in a friendly and approachable manner
- Support a positive and community-driven workplace atmosphere
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Ensure all kitchen and pantry equipment is clean and sanitised
- Follow all workplace health and safety guidelines
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Previous experience in a pantry, kitchen, or café environment
- Barista qualification or certification (preferred)
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Friendly, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to manage stock and coordinate with suppliers
