Job description:
- Protect the carpets, windows and other adjacent areas from paint
splattering by placing drop sheets; - Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces;
- Smooth surfaces, using sandpaper, brushes, or steel wool;
- Removing old paint from surfaces, using paint removers, scraper, wire brush, or blowtorch to prepare surfaces for painting;
- Fills holes, cracks and joints with caulk, putty, plaster or other filler, using a caulking gun and putty knife;
- Select premixed paints, or mix required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying substances to prepare a colour that matches specified colours;
- Paint surfaces using brushes, spray guns, or paint rollers;
- Apply paint with cloth, brush, sponge and other tools to create special effects;
- Keep repair and maintenance records.
Job pre-requisites:
- It would be advantageous if you have any prior relevant experience
- Honest, punctual with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn as well as willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test are a must
- Clean criminal record
- Ability to follow instructions and attention to detail
- Able to work in a team as well as autonomously
