Staffing Agency is a leading national recruitment company. We are looking for  Office and Logistics Administrator  for our client located in  Auckland  to start Immediately. Permanent Position.

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • General office administration and reception duties including: Dealing with visitors, consumables ordering, couriers, control of service contracts, organization of functions / catering. Full back up for the dedicated logistics role from receipt of customer orders to ensuring that the goods are delivered.

  • Organising the movement of specific goods to customers / Christchurch branch, including bulk tanker loads, trucks, couriers and ISO’s.

  • Ensuring that all paperwork relating to customer orders is current and complete including documentation to go with the goods, updating the despatch register and entry into the accounting system

  • Customer invoicing including levies, recharges, account queries and reconciliations, following up on unpaid accounts, processing of customer credit notes, and running monthly statements.

  • Participate in site safety and environmental initiatives.

  • Organisation of export orders including freight and documentation preparation.

  • Provide back up and support to the accounts person as required.

  • Any other reasonable requests made by management.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
  • Intermediate/ Advanced MS Office Suite.

  • Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain key
    stakeholder relationship.

  • Demonstrate high level of attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality and integrity.

  • Superior organisation, time management and problem-solving skills.

  • Self-sufficient and resourceful to respond to evolving tasks and requirements.

  • Quick Learner and able to take ownership of the position.

  • Strong administrative and customer service skills.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Certificate in Business Administration, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in an equivalent position within an office environment / administration experience.

  • Experience in Cost Centre Accounting and Accounts Management using Corporate Accounting Systems.

  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Navision.

  • Experience in Manufacturing Process desirable.

  • Experience with hazardous chemicals / dangerous goods preferred.
