We are looking for a Commercial Roofing Labourer to join a busy commercial construction project in Palmerston North. You’ll work alongside an experienced roofing team, assisting with roofing materials, tools and general site duties.
You do not need to be a qualified roofer. What matters most is that you’re physically fit, reliable, comfortable working from scaffolding and ready to get stuck in.
Hours & Duration:
Start: Tuesday 1st of September
Duration: Approximately 1 month
Hours: Starting at 7:00am, with finish times varying depending on the day’s workload and generally running up to approximately 6:00pm.

To be successful, you should:
- Have previous working-at-heights experience
- Be confident and comfortable working from scaffolding
- Be physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Have basic experience using hand tools
- Be comfortable with nailing, screwing and fastening tasks
- Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Be able to follow instructions and work well within a team
- Be reliable, punctual and committed to turning up every day
- Take workplace health and safety seriously
