You will carry out Warrant of Fitness inspections, vehicle servicing, diagnostics and general mechanical repairs while ensuring vehicles meet required safety and roadworthiness standards.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conduct WOF inspections in accordance with NZTA requirements and accurately document inspection outcomes
- Complete general servicing, preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment
- Inspect and repair brakes, suspension, exhaust systems, tyres, batteries and related components
- Maintain accurate workshop records while following all health, safety and quality procedures
- Qualified and experienced Automotive Mechanic / Automotive Technician
- Current NZ WOF Inspector authority
- Proven experience in WOF inspections, diagnostics and fault-finding
- Strong practical knowledge of servicing, brakes, suspension and general mechanical repairs
- Reliable, safety-conscious and able to deliver high-quality workmanship independently and as part of a team
